Visual Minutes

What is visual minuting?

Visual minutes are a great way of presenting information that might otherwise be difficult to digest. It is a great option for areas that need to provide an impact such as scientific research but can get lost in text-heavy documents.

When I do visual minuting I will attend your event and take notes and draw images based on the speakers. If possible I will gather information before the event to research topics that might come up or speakers that might be in attendance. Currently, I do this on a digital platform which allows for easier editing before the image is finalised and sent to the client for use in further distribution.

An added benefit of working with me is my knowledge of science, medicine, research and education which allows me to translate complex topics easily and with a unique perspective.

Visual minutes can also be used to create animations to help tell a story about your project or concept.

“Rose live-minuted a recent symposium for us with her fantastic drawings. She captured our speakers’ talks in lively and engaging illustrations, packing lots of information into a fantastic visual resource that will extend the reach of our work. She took time to understand the brief and as a result, her illustrations captured the spirit of our event brilliantly. Rose responded quickly, accurately, and professionally to requests for edits following the event; working with her was a great experience. The drawings have been appreciated by both the speakers and our audience, with many commenting on how they bring the topics to life in an accessible way.”
